Accredited photographers must abide by this Code of Conduct. It forms part of the accreditation conditions for photographers and becomes binding upon signature.
To enter the venues of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games, photographers need a valid accreditation. In addition, photographers must wear a photo bib when working in the venues or accessing photo positions. Bibs must be clearly visible at all times. Photographers will be identified by the number and colour of their bibs.
Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Photographers may work from the designated photo positions on the field of play and in the tribune. All photo positions in the tribune will be marked “Photo Positions”.
Photographers may occupy any empty spectator seat, but must leave as soon as the ticket holder arrives. These positions are almost always seats.
Photographers may use remote cameras if the radio frequencies of the Pocket Wizard devices meet the requirements of the host country and do not interfere with other equipment used by the OC or Rights-Holding Broadcasters during the competition.
Photographers must not use flash or tripods.
Photographers must take care not to obstruct TV cameras.
Photographers are not allowed to wear or display commercial, political, promotional or advertising slogans, trademarks, banners and logos on their clothing or equipment when working in the venues.
Photographers are not allowed to smoke, eat or drink alcohol when working in the venues of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games.
Photographers are not allowed to take food to the photo positions.
At all venues, accredited photographers must comply with all requests from the Venue Photo Manager or Venue Media Manager or Media Services Volunteers. Photographers must also treat volunteers with respect. Photographers must comply with all other rules stated in the Media & Broadcast Guide or otherwise communicated by the media services team.
Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Festival
Only first three songs of the act can be photographed.
Use of Photographs and Filming Prohibition
Photographers shall refrain from using their photographs for any reason other than editorial use without the express and prior written consent of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games and acknowledge that filming or recording of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Liability and Insurance
The photographer acknowledges that the performance of their duties may involve risks, including personal injury. The photographer undertakes to act at their own risk and to obtain appropriate liability and accident insurance.
The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games and the involved federations shall not be held responsible for any damage, injury or loss unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on their part.
Sanctions
Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in the withdrawal of the photographer’s accreditation. In cases of serious or repeated breaches, the accreditations of the photographer’s entire media organisation may be suspended or revoked.

By signing this form, the photographer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with
this Code of Conduct and acknowledges the above provisions.
